Ahi Tuna steaks are vibrant red, with moist, large flakes. They are an excellent option for raw preparations such as sushi, poke or ceviche.
The meat becomes white and tender when cooked and is also delicious quickly seared, grilled or broiled.
This migratory fish is found in both Atlantic and Pacific waters. The term Ahi means “fire” in Hawaiian and the steaks are a delicacy in the international market.
